Terms of sale
- What you are paying for
- A non-transferable allowance to use a feature of ColabLoop's software. You are paying ColabLoop for use of our service — never another producer, and never for anyone else's audio.
- Currency
- All prices are in US dollars (USD). Tax is calculated at checkout based on your location.
- Seller of record
- Our order process is conducted by Paddle.com, the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles payment, invoicing, tax and returns.
- Delivery
- Upload quota is added to your account immediately on successful payment. There is nothing to ship and nothing to download.

What upload quota actually is
The short version: permission for your own account to upload a file, and nothing else.
One upload, one file
A single upload is used when your account submits an audio file for its copyright check. Nothing else in ColabLoop uses your quota.
Your quota doesn't expire
No monthly reset, no subscription, no “use it or lose it”. Quota added today still uploads a file two years from now.
Collaborating is free
Browsing, previewing, sending an inquiry, sending a collaboration request, the private room, chat and the full-quality download all cost nothing.
A first rejected upload comes back
If the automated copyright check rejects your file, the first time is a free warning and that upload returns to your quota automatically. A second flag keeps the upload; a third pauses your account for review.
Invited by a producer? Your first pack earns a bonus
Join through another producer's invite link and your first pack adds bonus uploads to both of your accounts: +10 with 10, +30 with 50, +50 with 100, +100 with 300. It lands once your selling profile is verified.
And what it is not
Upload quota is a usage allowance for our software. It is:
- not money, virtual currency, or a stored-value instrument
- not transferable, sellable or giftable between accounts
- not redeemable for cash, and never withdrawn or paid out
- not a balance held on behalf of another producer
- not a way to pay, tip or commission another producer
- not usable for anything except uploading your own audio files
- not moved between accounts, even by a referral bonus, which we add to each account separately
Producers do not sell audio to each other on ColabLoop, and no money moves between users. Collaboration requests have no price — there is no field for one anywhere in the product. What producers agree about ownership of finished work is theirs to settle, separately from anything they pay us.
