How it works

Idea in, finished split out.

Five steps from finding a loop to downloading a finished track, with the rights settled on the way through rather than afterwards.

  1. 01

    Discover a loop

Browse by genre, style, mood, tempo or key — or by what a loop is still missing. Listening costs nothing and needs no account.

    Send a collaboration request

Say what you'd bring to it and send. Requests are always free — there is no price field on one anywhere in the product.

    Work in a private room

An accepted request opens a room for exactly two people. Live chat on one side, versioned stems on the other. Every file, message and revision stays organised in one place.

    Confirm credits and splits

Agree on credits and ownership before the collaboration is complete. A collaboration cannot be marked finished until both of you have confirmed the split.

    Download the final files

The first full download exchanges both producers' rights and contact details automatically — at the moment it starts to matter, not weeks afterwards.

What ColabLoop doesn't do

Worth knowing before you sign up, not after.

  • We don't take a cut

ColabLoop is not a party to your split and takes no percentage of anything you make. The only money that changes hands here is you buying upload quota from us.

  • We don't pay producers through the platform

There is no wallet, no payout and no way to pay, tip or commission another producer. Collaboration requests have no price field anywhere in the product.

  • We don't register your split for you

Confirming a split here records that the two of you agreed. Registering it with your PRO or distributor is still something you do yourselves — which is why the rights exchange sends you the exact details those forms ask for.

  • We don't verify what you agreed

We record that both of you confirmed, and when. We don't audit the percentages, and we don't arbitrate if you later disagree about them.

Questions producers ask first

What does it cost to collaborate?
Nothing. Browsing, previewing, messaging a producer, sending a collaboration request, the shared workspace, the stems and the full-quality download are all free. The only thing that uses your quota is publishing a loop of your own.
How do I get verified?
Sign up, then submit the profile you sell from — BeatStars, Airbit, Soundee, Traktrain, Bandcamp or another marketplace. We give you a short code to put in that profile's bio, and someone on our team opens it and checks. It is a manual review, so it is not instant, and there is no way to skip the queue.
How are credits and splits confirmed?
The first time either of you downloads the full file, both producers' credits and contact details are exchanged automatically. A collaboration can then only be marked complete once you have both confirmed the split — completion requires agreement from both collaborators, so nobody can quietly call it done without you.
What is the copyright check?
Every upload is fingerprinted against commercial releases before it goes live. A clean result publishes straight away; a match is rejected and the upload returns to your quota automatically; anything the check can't decide is held for a person to review.
Do I need an account to browse?
No. Browsing, filtering and previewing loops all work signed out. You need an account to send a collaboration request, publish a loop, or open a workspace.
