   Invite a producer, both get bonus uploads

   Your account page now has a personal invite link. When a producer joins through it and buys their first upload pack, you both get bonus uploads, up to +100 each for the largest pack. The bonus lands once their selling profile is verified.

   • +10 for 10 uploads, +30 for 50, +50 for 100, +100 for 300.
   • Each selling profile can now be attached to one ColabLoop account only.

   A shared loop link explains itself

   Open a loop link from a producer who sent it to you and the page now makes the case on its own: one player in the same frame as the homepage's, live counts, and what actually happens if you ask. Loops and profiles also get their own share cards, so a link pasted into a chat shows the loop rather than the logo.

   ColabLoop on your home screen

   Add ColabLoop to a phone's home screen and it opens like an app — no browser bar, its own icon. Nothing to install from a store.

4. 18 September 2026Collaborations

   Declaring a release is the attestation

   The collaborator used to declare how the beat went out and then swear to their own filing in a second pop-up. Saying how it was released now records that attestation by itself, so the only attestation left is the one that matters — the loop owner checking the split.

   A support thread with us, in the app

   Every producer now has one thread with ColabLoop, in the header. No verification needed — a producer locked out of uploading is exactly the one most likely to need help. A copyright rejection also opens as a dialog that shows the match it found, rather than a line of red text.

6. 15 September 2026CollaborationsSplits

   Collaborations end on two attestations, not a button

   The end of a collaboration was rebuilt around what actually happens: the beat gets sold and the loop's owner goes on the paperwork. Nothing is uploaded back to ColabLoop at any point.

   • Stem and file exchange removed from the room — it is chat and the full WAV, nothing else
   • The collaborator says how the beat went out: listed on a marketplace with a link, or sold directly to an artist
   • The owner can accept the split or send it back with a reason, which reopens the step rather than ending the collaboration
   • The second attestation completes the collaboration on its own — no one can close it alone

   Discovery, rebuilt around genres

   Browsing stopped being a search box. The catalogue is now organised into genres, styles and moods you can click, and producer profiles carry enough to decide who you want to work with.

   • Genre pages for every category, with their own styles and moods
   • Filter by mood, instruments, vocal or instrumental, and what a loop is still looking for
   • Key-compatible search — find everything that layers with your take, not just the same key
   • Fifteen scales on uploads, including the modes, pentatonics and blues
   • Curated shelves: trending, new this week, most requested and more
   • Producer profiles with genres, instruments, specialties, tempo and key preferences, public links and an availability switch
   • A producer directory you can filter by genre, instrument and availability

   A real account section

   Producers can now edit the details that travel with a rights exchange — legal name, IPI number, PRO affiliation and contact handles — instead of every exchange reading “Not provided”. Signups whose account setup didn't complete now heal themselves on the next page load.

   Verification opened to any beat marketplace

   Verification was BeatStars-only. It now accepts Airbit, Soundee, Traktrain, Bandcamp and anywhere else you sell from — the review itself is unchanged, still done by a person against the profile you submit.

    Credits became upload quota

    “Credits” implied a balance of money held for you, which was never what it was. It is now called what it is: an allowance for publishing your own audio files, with no cash value and no transfer between accounts.
